My story

I am a second year student studying fashion at Ravensbourne University.

From a young age I have been surrounded by fashion. My nan created costumes for her local pantomine society in Somerset; my aunt is a wedding dress designer and seamstress in Bath and my cousin, Scarlett Brimble, has graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a Bachelor in Fashion.

I grew up in Bristol with an english father and french mother, I am fluent in both languages. Currently based in London after residing in Toulouse for 10 years.

In first year of my bachelor’s degree, I found the first semester hard, I felt like I was behind everyone else because a lot of the students had already taken a fashion course or a textile course in their A levels, where as my IB diploma didn’t offer that.

UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

In my second semeseter we were briefed for a shirt project and based on feedback I approached this project with a different view and learnt from my mistakes. I am enormously proud of what I acheived with that project. A few of my teachers, thought that my project was well executed and professionally constructed.

fUTURE DREAMS

Thinking about my future I would like to somehow combine fashion and music because I am both paasionate about fashion and music and would like to create different garments for musicians to help express themselves and their music. At some point in my life I would like to be at a place where I have gained enough skills and experience to be start my own brand possibly creating a family brand with my sister who has decided to pursue fashion business.

I am hardworking and dedicated to creating and designing anything and everything to improve my knowledge and skills in the industry. I am hoping that the amount of hard work that I am putting into everything that I create will someday be seen by the world and hopefully has an impact in the industry.
